So, When i try to Record 1080p 60fps the video is really choppy, i have watched a lot of Youtube tutorials but nothing works and have also messed with the settings myself.

I would appreciate it if you would help me with the Settings

---Specs---

I7-4770 CPU 3.4Ghz

GTX 1050Ti

8GB Ram

1TB HDD and 128GB SSd (i record in SSD)

You record to the SSD at 1080p60? That'll burn thru your storage. I record at 720p30 and a 5 minute video is several gigabytes. That might not be your problem but it still needs fixing. 

 

Anyway, I'd say that the problem is your CPU. Get something with more cores (Ryzen 5 3600 for better gaming performance and more cores). Also, with the CPU upgrade your going to want 16gB of 3200MHz RAM at least (3600MHz is best), and a better GPU. RX 580 at least, but 1660 Super would be best if you're on a budget (which I'm assuming you are)

I used to record on SSD because before i used to Record on HDD and when i switched to SSD, My videos became less choppy.

 

And for the specs part...........

i ain't planning to upgrade anytime soon. So, could you help me with the setup i got rn? will appreciate it.

Please list your OBS settings. Also, what are you recording and is it only the playback of the file which is choppy or do you see fps drops in-game or dropped frames while recording?
