Hello, so i got almost all of the parts for my new build, just need the CPU  (arriving on april 6th) and the case that i will probobly get even before, i wanted to ask, can i install my m,2 drive now on my current build and install some games on it? or it will slow it down a bit till i put it in the new build, my current build has a 256gb SSD and 2tb HDD, please if any1 could answer it will be much appriciated!

Disregard my previous answer, I misunderstood the question. But it Depends on the game software. Steam, Origin, and Battle.net can look for existing game files on a drive. Just make sure the drive isn't password protected or have excessive permissions. It will scan the game files to make sure they aren't corrupted, then assuming all went well, you will NOT have any performance drops. But if any game files are damaged or missing, the software should redownload those files, then the game is ready to play!

Sure you can use it in the meantime. I assume you'll be using it as boot drive in the new PC, so obviously you'll want to wipe it at that time.
