Gaming motherboards aren't designed to run hardware RAID cards and while most of the time you are fine you can get in to problems. Similar issues myself in the past.

Changing the slot order of the cards might help. Failing that you may just have to use an onboard SATA port for the OS only and data disks on the RAID card, and if you can disable the RAID card BIOS hooks as that is where the problems mostly come from.

Motherboards that aren't workstation or server designs don't test or take in to consideration RAID cards at all so there is sadly a high chance of hitting problems like this. You can also have problems with a RAID card and a 10Gb NIC (or any PCIe NIC with PXE support). More things that have hooks and interactions with the BIOS on boot the more problems you'll have.

I don't think there is a better answer than you'll have to try a lot of different combinations and settings to see if you can get past the problem.
