Hi guys, i'm currently looking for a TV for my campervan and it seems to be a struggle to find anything that's decent quality/specs.  I think the perfect size for the space is a 40 inch but they're pretty hard to find, let alone a good brand 4k one with HDR etc, 43 inch is where most of the big brands start but i feel like that's just a little too big.  32 inch would be fine too i guess but they're pretty much all HD and not UHD, another option would be to get something like a 32 inch 4k monitor and give up on the idea of it being able to connect to my wireless headphones and having Netflix etc built in but i guess i could just get one of the new Shield devices that look like a long toilet roll.

I guess i'm just looking for some people to weigh in on the situation, it'll be primarily used for my PS4 pro (and later on both new generation consoles when they come out) and watching movies from my hard drive and/or Netflix.

I guess i should also give the size of the space it'll be going into as well, it's pretty much the "bedroom" portion of the van, full queen size in width but only 175cm long and it's high enough for me to sit upright in (just), a 43 inch has the potential to have the bottom portion of the screen obscured by my feet/blankets if i'm rugged up in winter so that's why i'm a little wary on going that big.

Easy answer is that there are no 'quality' 'small' TVs anymore.

Manufacturers have very much gone down the route of bigger = better.

Their quality displays don't start appearing until 55" for the most part.

Your going to be very hard pressed to find anything of proper quality at or below 43".

Even the upcoming LG CX OLEDs which will be coming out with a new smaller size option, is 48".

Given the size of the area u have, a monitor may be a solid choice, perhaps even a 21:9 ultrawide which work fine with most movies.

You can find some 40 to 43" Monitors, they effectively use VA TV panels, but they dont have any of the TV functionality. So which ever 'monitor' u go with ur going to have to buy a plug in option for things like Netflix, Amazon prime etc. I know they are available but i personal dont know much about them.

i suggest u browse rtings website to look for reviewed TVs and monitors.
