So, this might be a dumb question, but i'd rather be safe than sorry.
My 5700xt has worked mostly fine since i got it. Its been on the 19.12.3 drivers since the first day, but now ive heard great things about the 20.2.2 drivers so i'm willing to upgrade.
However since the navi drivers have a reputation for being tricky I wanted to know if just installing the new drivers is enough, or should i use safe mode and/or tools like ddu?

Thanks, and again sorry if its a dumb question

I went from the 20.1 to the new 20.2 and checked the factory reset or fresh install whatever the option was and it worked fine for me.
I also have a 5700xt and it hasn’t had a single issue yet
