RGB Strips for cases. (RANT)

Pikatchu

I recently bought some Corsair RGB Strips, the Lighting Node Pro came with 4 strips.

I notice that all of their connectors, the part that does not have any lighting, is short.

It is impossible to have one strip at the top, temper side panel, and route the connector to the back of motherboard.

How do others deal with this? Do they have the RGB hub in the main chamber of the chassis?

Upon further researcher, I realized that the strips that are pre-installed in cases (NZXT, Corsair) have a really long connector.

Why can't they just sell those? or have at least one strip with long connector to have better cable routing.

I refunded my Lighting Node Pro.

The Corsair light strips should come with 4 extension cables.

you can also plug them into each other.

i have no issues. Are you missing the extensions?

If they were suppose to come with extensions, I did not get any.

Yep they were. Did you buy them second hand? I forgot where about in the box they where now but if you haven’t thrown away the box just try taking it apart and having a look. Otherwise contact where you bought them from or Corsair.

Bought it on Amazon, the item is refunded already.

Doesn't seem to be second handed, the new packaging seals are still attached.

Must have been one of those occasional QC slip ups. Anyhow, if you still want to give Corsair a chance, their new lighting kits look ?

Edit: just realized that they are intended for desk lighting. Still look good though
