He may have degraded the chip while mining and it cant hold the standart clocks anymore.

Try underclocking the core and memory and see if this fixes it

Ok will try. The funny thing is when i told him what is happening he claimed that the gpu is 100% working and it must be something with my pc or psu.. no matter what i say he still claims that...

1 - step use DDU in safe mode

2 - have no oc on your system

3 - test in superposition and see if it crashes

4 - downclock the memory and gpu by 50 or 100

If nothing works try a diferent psu

if still you have problems that card is going to the gpu heaven,

He said that he tried benchmarking it and it worked perfectly but when i try heaven benchmark it it crashes.... also i tried all the thing above... i can only try those things now: changing thermal paste, underclocking it and use a different pcie

also didnt try different psu yet which i dont have

Try it in some friends pc if under clocking doesn't work. Changing the paste won't help, your temps are fine. You can try putting the card in different slot though.

Ok will try under clocking and different slot when i arrive home... but still changing thermal paste and re-seat the card cant hurt right??:) ty

I wouldn't bother with changing the paste, reseating is advisable though.

If it didnt crash it would maybe go higher since the test wasnt even halfway trough.. cant even see max temps -.-

It looks like that overheating is not the problem here, might be the card itself.

Yeah might be but the person who sold it is not reasonable so it is what it is..
