should i wait for the 30 series cards to launch this summer if i want to build a pc?

It's up to you but Linus put out a video recently saying the corona virus has hit production in china and so supply and demand issues will push prices up.

 

So it might be better to buy things now before they do.

I'm an IT System Admin with 15+ years worth of XP, plus I've been tinkering computers since I was old enough to hold a screwdriver, so I usually know what I'm talking about.

Me at age 15 had near 0 budget and I had to time around releases and look for sales. 

 

Me right now could buy current  (overkill) rig dozens of times over. 

 

 

 

my budget is very flexible but i dont wanna buy now and then in a few month i could have got the same for much cheaper

but if 30 series drop then the 20 series would get cheaper wouldent it ?

The consensus recently is that there has not been much of a price drop as the new cards go in at a higher price point.

 

This is a double whammy for consumers, is it likely to change? I can’t predict that...
