Videocard for upgrade

Go to solution Solved by Gohardgrandpa,

But a 5700xt from amazon, if you have issues and do basic trouble shooting and still can’t get it right then return and go with nvidia.

Hello to everybody)

I am trying to decide what is more suitable and more reasonable purchase of videocard for next 3 or even 5 years.

This is my current rig -

And I can spent almost 400-450 US $.I think between 1660s, 2060, 2060s. No overclocking will be done. Just insert and play.

Goals of purchase:
1) Try to play some modern titles at FHD
2) Finally start to play and throw R6

3) Transform rig to VR machine (mostly want to play Beat Saber)

Spoiler

For that price 5700xt is better.

EDIT: Nevermind my previous comment.

I agree, the 5700XT is better, but with AMD's screwy drivers right now, I think Nvidia may be the way to go.

I don’t know the conversion rate dollar wise with your currency to mine but if it’s a good price id go for it. People like the gaming oc cards, they are triple fan so it should be a quieter card.

I bought a sapphire pulse rx5700xt and it’s been great.

I'm not sure what currency that is, but it's telling me your price is equivalent to either $15USD or $1500USD... Both sound absurd...

i would say with your current specs save up the extra and get a 2070 Super and you will be good for a while, your current components is happy medium, you might be able to find a used, reconditioned / refurbished or open box one at slightly lower price.

then there is ascetics to consider, do you have preference to any manufacture, colour etc?

right now the RTX 2070 Super is the sweet spot. or the RX 5700XT or non XT
