So my birthday was yesterday, and i got $100 for it. Now, I've read on here and other places that it's worth getting a 250gb SSD because 120gb fills up very fast. Would it be worth the wait to get a 250gb over a 120gb? I have a 3-4 games i want to put on it, 2 programs, and windows. Which I believe is more than 120gb. Any advice?

Is getting a SSD worth it, heck yes.
120GB or 250GB. really up to you. But if you want to load some games, OS and some programs, depending on those games, the 250GB is the safer bet.

Wait so you only have $100 to spend or you have some more money on top of that.
As it stand on amazon right now the Samsung EVO 120GB will give you change from your $100, but the 250GB is $145.

I have 100$ on me, but i'm picking up my check from work today. I'm just wondering if it'll be worth to get the 250gb over the 120gb

I have 1x 120GB  samsung 840 evo, and have windows and about 10 programs and have 35gb free, but I honestly don't bother putting games on a SSD except, Total War:Rome II that is slow at loading so that is the only game on the SSD. All my other games are on a 1tb drive and they all load fast.

You also need to think about the future, are you planning on getting more games ? 250GB can still fill up just as quick. Thats why I have 1x SSD for main OS and important programs, and 3x 1Tb hard drives for everything else.

Personally I would go with 120gb Samsung 840 Evo, then put the rest towards a HDD.

I have 2x 256GB SSDs in my PC and it is completely worth it to have some extra storage space if you decide to throw all of your primary programs on it as well as music library. Everything is sooo much faster and snappier when it is loaded directly from an SSD compared to an even WD Black HDD.

120GB is plenty for your os + programs. If you feel the need to put some games on it as well, get the 250GB.
