Need some help

Hey guys,

 

Long time lurker here. Had an issue hit me today, and wondered if you guys could direct me to resources.

 

My pc got toasted by accidental kitten attack. She knocked some sweet tea into my case, and when I got in there to take a look...well...she is done.

 

Problem is, my PC is my work machine. I do video editing, writing, gaming the whole thing from my one station. Luckily I regularly backup data, so I only lost a couple days of data.

 

I read the rules, and I am not asking for anything but information. I need to keep a pretty beefy system, and at the moment I got nothing to get it with.

 

I was hoping that you guys might know of sweepstakes, philanthropic individuals, and the like. I just need some help to get back to work, and life. My back up laptop is a...well...its a pdf reader.

 

If you want to PM or Reply links I would appreciate it. I know this kinda skims the rules, if disallowed I understand.

 

This just happened today, and this is one of the first places I thought for help. Just trying to stay alive, ya know?

You sure? Have you pulled it all apart and cleaned it thoroughly? Usually that's enough to fix it.

Was this in RAM or not saved or something? You should just be able to pull the drives from that machine.
