I have a HP Pavilion-15AB108-AX laptop in which there is an AMD A8-7410 processor The socket of processor is FT3b. I want to upgrade the processor to any higher variant. Is it even possible?

This is a BGA chip, meaning the CPU is soldered directly to the motherboard.

Technically it would be possible to remove the CPU, but practically; not possible.

Reason I mention it's technically possible is because you would need to desolder the CPU, get a new CPU which someone has had to desolder from their board and you have to solder that CPU into place. Not even keeping in mind the fact that your BIOS might not even have support for another chip, this is highly difficult and definitely not worth it.

Consider this laptop's CPU and videocard (which is built into the CPU) non-upgradable.
