I have legion y540 with i5 9300h and a gtx 1650 . I'm currently using throttlestop to undervolt the cpu by -150 mv and to limit the tdp to 33 watts . Even after this cpu spikes to 90-92° celsius for just a sec but the average temps are in 70-80° celsius range . I game a lot , my session lasts more than 6 hrs . I'm just anxious bout the longevity of my laptop . Tell me if something is wrong and what do i need to do if so .

All good the legion looks like one of the thinn boys and it geuss its not that old that it could be a dust prob so its fine u could maybe repaste it with better thermal past for a few c but idk how warrenty is on that Modell so i would just leave it alone

those temps wor't affect the longevity of the chip provided that they aren't perpetually there, even then the intel mobile chips are pretty hearty so I doubt that your cpu will be an issue before something else major breaks on your machine. If you really want to get better temps beyond undervolting then you're probably gonna have to repaste.

8086k Winner BABY!!
