Personally would go with a B450 board, but B350 is fine. That PSU sketches me out a little though, especially for use with a Vega 56

I checked the store page. I don’t personally think it’s a great idea to run a low wattage PSU from an (at least in the US) unheard of brand with such a high power draw card

I would change the B350 motherboard for a B450 one and please never cheap out on the PSU get a good brand like EVGA or Corsair and MSI recommend 650W for the Vega56.

I think the B350 is a good choice to save a bit money, unlike the others I don't see how a B450 can really benefit you especially with the R5 2600X. Since you're building now, I don't assume you wanna upgrade any time soon.

Also the PSU is CE and RoHS certified, i.e. tested according to EU standards. I wouldn't worry about it also since it's 80+ Bronze.

The only thing I would change is instead of 4x4 RAM I'd go for 2x8 in case I wanna add more later on, for upgradeability.

It sounds like a very good system for gaming and a bit productivity, hope you enjoy the build ;)

It think like you too about Ram, but i found a good deal and problably i don"t think is a big problem, especially if I will keep this system for 2-4 years.

Anyway, thank you!

Wouldn't even use that group regulated 396W psu from Romania in my grandma's PC, let alone use it for a power hungry Vega. But maybe you wont have problems with it like the old SeaSonic Focus, so I hope you enjoy your nJoy psu.

This CPU doesn't support quad channel though, even with 4 RAM sticks it will run on dual channel mode. But if you say you got it in a deal and you might not need more than 16GB (which I also have and think is enough for light work), then why the heck not? :)
Just don't forget to unlock the XMP profile in the bios to use the 3200 MHz speed, THAT helps a bit with the framrerates.

you can probably get an nvme SSD for less than the 860 evo at the same capacity, samsung's SSD are getting quite overpriced nowadays.

doesn't make much sense getting a B350-F now, and the B450-F is rather mediocre. see if you can get an MSI B450-A Pro/gaming plus/tomahawk MAX instead.

Unless it's much cheaper, get a 2x8GB kit instead and save the slots for later.

I wouldn't trust that PSU at all tbh, it doesn't look like a modern design at all. see if you can pick a CX550/650 or be quiet pure power 11 instead.

The B350-F isnt worth getting over the current B450 chipset boards, while the B450-F has mediocre VRMs for the price.

You mean like the EVGA B series, which has a 30° operating temperature? Or the thermaltake smart series, which permeates their entire low end product stack but totally sucks? Or like the seasonic focus and focus plus, which has shutdown problems? Or the mwe v1, similarly crappy to the thermaltake smart?

We do have a PSU tier list on the forum after all, you could check out which units are good instead of recommending by brand

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

And conversely, there are brands that make good PSUs other than those 5, like Bitfenix, Fractal Design, FSP, Gigabyte, Deepcool, NZXT, Phanteks, Super Flower, Xilence. Most of them rebrand units manufactured by other OEMs (CWT, HEC, Highpower, Delta, Flextronics, etc, in addition to Seasonic, FSP and Superflower which sell units under their own brand) and have bad and good designs too. In other words, look at the product, not the brand.

And speaking of that nJoy PSU, there are no reviews on it whatsoever, i can't even find the photo of it's insides to estimate the platform\OEM so it's definitely not a good idea to buy it for 300W GPU.

Here are some translated reviews from the website emag.ro:

- It looks cool, it works good and it doesnt produce much sound, I recommand it!

- Super silent, Super design, used witch a i7 8700K + GTX 1080 TI

- I used it just for a week, and it is very silent, it runs without a problem a i5 6600K on oc at 4.4ghz, 32GB ram, GTX 970 oc, 49.1A on 12V. Very satisfied.

Anyway, I'll buy the 700w one.

calling those reviews should have the website owners arrested for fake news IMO. almost literally none of them does any kind of testing with professional equipment, so they don't know anything about the internals or whether it's delivering power out-of-spec.
