Posted February 14, 2020 Greetings. I am here in hope for some advice. Lately I have been having difficulty enjoying my current pc games. All the games I have currently (Destiny 2+ all expansions, red dead 2, borderlands 3, modern warfare, and the Witcher 3) I was trouble figuring out why. I hopped on Zelda breath of the wild on my switch today and found my answer to why my lack of enjoyment is. Zelda breath of the wild felt a lot more relaxed without being overly simple. Casual without being dull. All my current Pc games I feel almost “obligated” to play per say because of investment rather than something I can just pick up and have fun while still retaining complexity, story, and lots of content. I’m also a fan of the puzzles in Zelda by the way. So with not having many gamer friends I have come to the internet in search of potential advice on what game might suit me. Thank you for your time, hope I hear from someone

Posted February 14, 2020 I know how you feel - even though I was never big on story games myself (I know, I know, please don't shoot me). For me the answer was (and is) to stop playing games alone. I've found everything to be a lot more enjoyable when played with friends. Plus I've cut back on the total amount of time I spend playing games. I enjoy the fewer hours I play now more and I have some time left over for actually doing productive things ^^ 75% of what I say is sarcastic So is the rest probably
 Posted February 14, 2020 I can relate so much man. I used to play single player games only, then competetive multiplayer games started to get popular... When Outer Worlds came out I forced myself to play it, even if I felt I missed out of the ranked grind. And it was so satisfying. No raging, just relaxing and soaking in the atmosphere. I also started Witcher 3 again last week. When it came out I could not get into it, but right now I cant stop playing it. So I recommend playing Outer Worlds and trying Witcher 3 a bit more. The story of Witcher is really good, but you dont have to follow it closely in order to enjoy it. But unfortunately my switch to Pc has resulted with me having 0 friends. And as far as the amount of gaming do is pretty small compared to what it used to be. So definitely not “over gaming”

Haven’t done that much looking into it but it looked similar to fall out feel. Which is pretty cool. Considering Bethesda has lost all hope. I played the Witcher 3 on PS4 for a good chunk of time and now I’m back to square one on pc and I just haven’t gotten to play it yet. The mouse controls felt a little weird but that’s nothing a bit of time won’t fix.
 And yes the controls of Witcher are pretty clunky if youre not used to it. I complained quite a bit if the first hours But even if you cant get used to it with M&K, just use a controller instead ^^ My Gaming PC: Inno3D iChill Black - RTX 4080 - +500 Memory, undervolted Core, 2xCorsair QX120 (push) + 2xInno3D 120mm (pull) AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D - NZXT x72 G.SKILL Trident Z @6000MHz CL30 - 2x16GB Asus Strix X670E-E Gaming 1x500GB Samsung 960 Pro (Windows 11) 1x2TB Kingston KC3000 (Games) 1x1TB WD Blue SN550 (Programs) 1x1TB Samsung 870 EVO (Programs) Corsair RM-850X Lian Li O11 Vision ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM (240hz OLED), MSI Optix MAG274QRFDE-QD, BenQ ZOWIE XL2720 Logitech G Pro Wireless Superlight Wooting 60HE Audeze LCD2-C + FiiO K3 Klipsch RP600-M + Klipsch R-120 SW My Notebook: MacBook Pro 16 M1 - 16GB Proxmox-Cluster: Ryzen 9 3950X, Asus Strix X570E F-Gaming, 2x32GB3200MHz ECC, 2x 512GB NVMe ZFS-Mirror (Boot + Testing-VMs), 2x14TB ZFS-Mirror + 1x3TB (TrueNAS-VM), 1x 1TB Samsung 980 Pro NVMe (Ceph-OSD), 10G NIC i7 8700k delidded undervolted, Gigabyte Z390 UD, 4x16GB 3200MHz, 1x 512GB SSD (Boot), 1x 1TB Samsung 980 Pro NVMe (Ceph-OSD), 2,5G NIC i5 4670, 3x4GB + 1x8GB 1600MHz, 1x 512GB SSD (Boot), 1x 1TB Samsung 980 Pro NVMe (Ceph-OSD), 2,5G NIC Proxmox-Backup-Server: i5 4670, 4x4GB 1600MHz, 2x2TB ZFS-Mirror, 2,5G NIC
 (PS4 controller) With an XBOX controller yes, but a PS4 controller is trickier in some game. Some support it natively through Steam, but since I play Witcher on GOG I cant comment on that. But even if its not supported, there are progammes like DS4Windows which can help with unsupported games. You can even connect it via Bluetooth and customize everything. Its a really good tool!
