How do I move files

Ok I know this is a very stupid question. But I just noticed I downloaded a game on my boot drive and I want to move it to my game hard drive. It took a while to download so i don't want to re-download it. Is it as simple as just dragging the folder to my game drive?

No. I just had to re download minecraft because I accidentally deleted it when trying to clean out my game drive (I know im stupid)

If it's the windows 10 version, just go into add and remove programs in windows, click it and press move

For java edition, i'm not sure. I think it's more difficult to move and would just be easier re-downloading

Java version if installation setup file & not the launcher version then you'll have to re-download on the correct drive.
