Hey, I recently have started saving up for a Gaming PC that can handle many games at 1080p at competitive settings and I've bought a graphics card which was the [GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1660 Ti OC 6G]. I was wondering if I should continue with these parts.

The parts are fine, they'll work well together.

Note that the motherboard is so cheap because of a mail in rebate of 30$ ... if you don't want to deal with that, the Gigabyte board here would be a good alternative at $94 : https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/hpRzK8/gigabyte-b450m-ds3h-micro-atx-am4-motherboard-b450m-ds3h

I would strongly suggest adding 2-3 extra case fans. The q300L is not known for its excellent airflow and temperatures. Esp with stock wraith stealth cooler, you might have problems with cpu& and even GPU temps.

Life is really challenging. I don't always suceed: )

The ASRock is the better board. If he buys it from Newegg it is $99.99.

I'd suggest trying to save up an extra $40 or so and getting a 250gb SSD for your boot drive and 1 or 2 most frequently played games.

That Seagate drive you have listed is a 5400rpm drive, which is quite slow.

I'll probably just get the Western Digital 7200 RPM 1TB HDD and save up for an SSD eventually.

Do you think this will be good enough to maintain compatible temps?

If you're adding 30$ worth of fans to a 58$ case ... you're making it a 88$ case. You may find a case cheaper than 88$ which is better value.

Also, the 1660ti is a card that consumes up to 125 watts. The 2600 consumes around 100w at most, the rest of the system won't consume more than 150w... so you're looking at less than 300w of power consumption.

You would be fine even with a 450w psu, but if you want 550w for potentially future upgrades I get it. Still, you could save a bit of cash by going with a bronze efficiency psu.

For example

65$ CAD Corsair CX 2017 450w https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/Q7L7YJ/corsair-cx-2017-450w-80-bronze-certified-atx-power-supply-cp-9020120-na

65$ CAD Seasonic S12iii 550w: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/3G97YJ/seasonic-s12iii-550-w-80-bronze-certified-atx-power-supply-ssr-550gb3

70$ Cooler Master MasterWatt 550 W semi-mod :: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/B6XnTW/cooler-master-masterwatt-550w-80-bronze-certified-semi-modular-atx-power-supply-mpx-5501-amaab-us

76$ cad evga bq 500w semimod https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/8P7CmG/evga-bq-500w-80-bronze-certified-semi-modular-atx-power-supply-110-bq-0500-k1

78$ cad corsair cx 2017 550w : https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/FdRFf7/corsair-cx-2017-550w-80-bronze-certified-atx-power-supply-cp-9020121-na

as for case

68$ fractal design focus g gets you 2 fans on the case from start:

https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/4vzZxr/fractal-design-focus-g-atx-mid-tower-case-fd-ca-focus-gy-w

https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/YhzZxr/fractal-design-focus-g-white-atx-mid-tower-case-fd-ca-focus-wt-w

Maybe go up to a 110$ meshify c , if you already went up to 88$ with your fans.
