Is this a good fan? QFR1212GHEEVT

210 CFM / 6000 RPM with PWM control for $21.50 sounds good on paper.

60dB is loud as hell but PWM control should allow for some tuning. Not to mention the high power draw.

Any thoughts?

I prefer not having a jet engine inside my case but if you are fine with that it's is a great fan.

Uhhhhhh I don't think you understand how loud Deltas are.

 

Basically, if you're trying to cool a server, dry your hair or replace a malfunctioning engine on a 747, Deltas are great. Otherwise, no, you don't want that.

Aerocool DS are the best fans you've never tried.

You do not want 64 dB in your room. That's 4 times louder than some of the loudest graphics cards on the market.

 

Even if you do manage to turn it down a notch via PWM, the fan will spin at max RPM for a second each time you turn on your PC.

if that is for your desktop, would not go for it... yes it will keep  your system cool but the noise.. 

if it is for  server yes..

Why would you need that? Restrictive airflow situation? Server use? Even at half of the speed that would make same noise as your GPU running at full fan speed.
