The internet in my room is just total shit, but when I am in my living room or basement its fine...

 

So, what I need is a powerline kit to bring wired into my room for my laptop.

What is the best kit? I have to bring it up 2 floors and I get 25/10.

These are quite a bit more expensive, but I can vouch for them: http://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=27_1054_360&item_id=061289. I've been using them for a few weeks now and I am quite happy with the performance, despite the fact that in my house the wiring is pretty old.

I've tried the TP-Link and D-Link ones and they perform about the same. Grab whichever's cheaper which will probably be the TP-Link. Anything is better then WiFi.
