I do not know what happens to my computer in fortnite, the fps lower me up to 50 or lower in endgame with only 15 people and in creative it goes up to a maximum of 130 I do not know what it could be besides if I upload the graphics to epic the performance is almost equal to that played in low graphics also try with bo3 and it is the same 200 fps in low and 130 in ultra in no man's sky if there was a difference of 90 in epics to 140 in low but it is not the difference you expect for this graph and processor would expect at least get the 144 stable in fortnite which is why I mainly put it together i have a single slot of 8gb ram

What is your cpu?  Also the ram?

That one stick of ram may be the cause or the cpu considering that looks like a wraith stealth.

Im with the mentaility of "IF IM NOT SURE IF ITS ENOUGH COOLING, GO OVERKILL"

CURRENT PC SPECS

CPU             Ryzen 5 3600 (Formerly Ryzen 3 1200)

GPU             : ASUS RX 580 Dual OC (Formerly ASUS GTX 1060 but it got corroded for some odd reasons)

GPU COOOER      : ID Cooling Frostflow 120 VGA (Stock cooler overheats even when undervolted :()

MOBO            : MSI B350m Bazooka

MEMORY          Team Group Elite TUF DDR4 3600 Mhz CL 16
STORAGE         : Seagate Baracudda 1TB and Kingston SSD
PSU             : Thermaltake Lite power 550W (Gonna change soon as i dont trust this)
CASE            : Rakk Anyag Frost
CPU COOLER      : ID-Cooling SE 207
CASE FANS       : Mix of ID cooling fans, Corsair fans and Rakk Ounos (planned change to ID Cooling)

Hello,

1 ram module is a big no no and will decrease greatly Ryzen performance.

Did you monitored your CPU and GPU temp ?

yes cpu is in the most demanded moment 40 to 50 percent at 50 to 60 degres and gpu same but with 60 degres just on gpu demanding games goes to 100 at 60 degres

It is very hard to understand what your problem is exactly. Try punctuating and actually forming coherent sentences please.

If you have up to 200 fps in Black Ops 3, I doubt there is anything wrong with your PC. Although 50 fps in fortnite does sound low. The fact that the perfomance does not increase by lowering graphics settings points to the fact that your CPU is holding you back, not your GPU.

If you have a Ryzen 3 CPU, those framerates could be completely normal under certain circumstances. Also, Ryzen likes fast RAM, so if you have slow RAM or one stick of RAM (single channel), your RAM could be holding your CPU back from performing to it's full potential.

You might want to add another stick of ram .

ryzen 5 2600 this is the ram Xpg Spectrix D60g Rgb 8gb 3200mhz

Try putting a second stick of the same 8GB RAM in, see if that helps.

3200 Mhz RAM should be plenty fast. Did you check in BIOS that your RAM is running at full speed? Did you enable the XMP profile?

Ryzen 2600 should be giving you more than 50 fps in Fortnite for sure.

in bios it is on 3600 i don't know what is xmp

That means the RAM is already OC'd manually in BIOS?

XMP is a standard memory profile that you can set in BIOS to make the RAM run at the default speeds that the manufacturer has rated it at (in your case 3200 mhz),. The default speeds of any DDR4 ram is 2133 Mhz, so you need to enable the XMP profile to make it run at 3200 Mhz. The XMP profile also enables better RAM timings. I would try to enable it instead of manually OC'ing to 3600, and see if you notice any improvement.

Are you streaming or using the CPU for anything else while gaming?

Streaming in Twitch will cause extra strain on your CPU. So that, combined with only 1 stick of RAM, and potentially not optimal RAM settings in BIOS could be causing the slowdown in games.

Try turning off your streaming and see what FPS you are getting. Upgrading to a dual Channel ram setup might get you better performance. Also, OC'ing your CPU to 4.1 or 4.2 Ghz on all cores might also provide some benefit.

Good luck!

i saw that my cpu only gets to 39.5 ghz cause of the stock cooler yes if i quit stream i get arround 20 or 30 fps more

3.95 Ghz is not bad, but upgrading your CPU cooler can help you get higher. That could make some difference.

The difference in Ryzen between good and bad RAM configurations can be as much as 15%, and definitely reduce frame dips. So upgrading your RAM and setting the timings correctly might help. If I were you, I would even sell the 1x8GB 3200Mhz ram and get a kit of 2x8 GB of 3600 Mhz.

Otherwise, a 8-core CPU would have been a better choice, such as Ryzen 2700 or 3700. Those extra 2 cores are very useful when streaming + gaming.

I doubt running the game off of the SSD versus the Hard drive would make any difference to your FPS. Unless you are encoding and saving the Twitch stream to a large video file on the same SSD while playing. But even then, once the game is loaded, the hard drive / SSD activity in game is minimal.
