So dose it matter if the panel match's the brand name of the monitor? Or dose just the panel model matter?

When I looked up the panel model number I found plenty on panel but most are labeled for Asus( or not labeled at all) we're as the monitor I'm trying to repair the panel of is a hp.

Model number.

Usually brands use panels manufactured by someone else.

 

Just make sure that the one you're buying is actually designed to fit in whatever laptop or device you're putting it in.
