IMO save up and go for the 770, it will save you in the long run, and I don't think the 760 will be up to much in a couple if years, compared to the 770. Don't forget you can always sli in the future if they come down in price, eg with next gen orr something

The Only game that would somewhat benifit you with a Nvidia card would be AC4, the other games you should get an AMD unless you like the Nvidias features

I looked at some reviews for the 270x some people say that the fan is extremely loud. Noise is a large feature for me.

Just don't get a reference cooler.  The 280X is pretty much the same price as the 770, go for that if you can.

There are still other softwares that can record, why choose a card on the basis of this shitty thing mate...

are you an amd fanboy? Shadow play is the only recording software that only reduces fps by a few percent. Things like fraps often lower fps by over 40%. If you regularly record gameplay, nvidia is the way to go.

I was wondering what the price to performance ratio is between the 760 and 770 because i want to justify spending 60+$ for a 770. I am going to pick up Star Citizen, BF4, and AC4 if that helps thanks.

a gtx 770 of course.DONT go for a AMD card just sucks.bf4 is epic at ultra with a gtx 770

Its really funny to meet people who emphasis more on the software performance for recording than the hardware performance...i just said that dont choose on the basis of the recording software...i m not biased mate...
