well my main rig is a is using a 2600x and a rtx 2060. this one is for taking to my cousins for us to play wow and runescape 3 together. since its only a 20-30 minute walk the smaller physically i can build this slim pc the better.

then i guess you should just go for the 3400g. it is a great cpu and has decent integrated graphics for your purpose.

so i havent messed with intergrated graphics since ivy bridge.

i want to build a itx or very slimline matx pc to play 2 games and maybe oldies too.

so primarly world of warcraft and runescape 3 on medium or high if plausable. on setting preset 5 is what im aiming to do as the screen i intend to use will be 15" portable screen has a passthough for the psu power cable.

specs in spoiler.

I assume you're playing at 1080p right?
Then i would probably honestly go for a ryzen 5 3400G. The cpu will make for good upgradeability to a discrete gpu if you want to and the vega graphics are superior to intel imho. and it is not too expensive either.

Edit: You could also go for a 2400g, since it has the same integrated graphics chip, but for like 30 bucks more you can have a newer generation cpu with a little higher core-clock.

no chance in hell dude, thats mega overkill for what i will ever use this thing for. for one im if its ryzen im using my spare a320m board since overclocking is not being done. and i only using 2x 4gb basic ram without spreaders the inside of this thing wont be seen ever. i only buy from amazon uk or local cex stores slough/windsor. only needed a recomendaton of a cpu with a good enough igpu to play these games at their mid or high settings. for 60fps ill be at 1080p for both. and i keep shadows to a minimum.

yeah after checking a video of it on youtube this thing will violate those two games maybe even elder scrolls online too. now to figure out a cooling solution thats low profile

I didn't know you already have a 320 board, i wouldn't have suggested a new one otherwise. Fast ram works wonders with ryzen and it helps the igpu as well.

I don't know how small you are going with your build, but the noctua NH-L12S is pretty low profile and will cool the 3400G easily. you might even have some headroom for some slight overclocking.

You can get a Ryzen 1200 for 58 GBP new... used even cheaper: https://www.amazon.co.uk/AMD-Processor-Wraith-Stealth-Cooler/dp/B0741DN383/

You can get a RX 550 / RX 460 video card for around 45-55 gbp, even less used:

45 rx 550 https://uk.webuy.com/product-detail?id=sgraamdradrx5502gb&categoryName=graphics-cards-pci-e&superCatName=computing&title=amd-radeon-rx-550-2gb

55 rx 460 https://uk.webuy.com/product-detail?id=sgraamdrx4602gb&categoryName=graphics-cards-pci-e&superCatName=computing&title=amd-radeon-rx-460-2gb

ITX boards aren't cheap, but you can get plenty cheap B450 boards starting from around 55 gbp

If you want super cheap, a320 boards start from around 42 gbp: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/products/motherboard/#sort=price&page=1

ex 43 gbp for Gigabyte A320M-S2H: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B078KBKFZ6

3400g is not worth it. It's Zen+, not Zen2 (3xxx series cpu), so it would be just as fast as a Ryzen 2xxx quad core.

If you get a B450 board, you can take the cheap 1200 quad core and OC it quite a bit.

Alternatively you have 3200g at 80 GBP, and that leaves you 30-40 pounds (compared to 1200+RX 550) : https://www.amazon.co.uk/AMD-Ryzen-3200G-Processor-Graphics/dp/B07STGHZK8/

You can go with stock cooler or with this. Also, in the uk the 2400g is much cheaper than the 3400g. The difference between them isn't that big. I would still advise to get fast memory to benefit from the igpu at the max.

My son played early BfA with Coffeelake igpu while we were waiting on a GPU rma.

It worked, but definitely wasn't fun.

Any of the Ryzen APUs will probably work okay.

That game I mostly CPU bound, so go for a strong cpu.

More than 4 cores it doesn't really care too much.

DX12 optimization in 8.1 helped, but it's still mostly single thread bound.
