I will soon buy my first gaming rig (budget). Can I use dual channel memory with 2700x, asus b450-plus prime and corsair vengeance 2x8GB 3000MHz? I ask you this because I've heard that ryzen cpus work a lot better with dual channel. Thanks

Yep, that will work. Dual channel is highly preferred for Ryzen. Dual channel just means two memory sticks working together, which will happen with 2x8GB.

The motherboard is not really fit for a Ryzen 7 2700X though. Something like an MSI B450 Gaming Plus (MAX) will do better.

Looks like the NZXT case just requires an USB 2.0 front panel connector, which this MSI board (but really any board) has
