PUBG randomly closing any opened application during the launch

WereCat

So me and my friend both have this very bizarre issue with PUBG.

When we start the game, monitors will flash black for a moment and then any randomly opened application will turn off completely, for example Discord, Steam, OBS, etc... but its usually those 3.

We both have completely different systems, but we both have multiple monitors.

Anyone else with this strange issue? (Happens only in this game).

Is this your friend?

Maybe anti-cheat software related or some memory leak happened.

It's most likely the anti-cheat being too aggressive. I've had ARK:Survival evolved crash Firefox and Discord every time I opened it up.

Make sure to quote or tag people, so they get notified.

that's not my friend but yeah, it's possible the Anti-Cheat is responsible for this. It's just annoying and it's making me mad when it shuts down OBS mid-stream.

I think you should try updating windows. There was a very recent update, that after applied the issue stopped for me. Hope this helps.
