Changing termal paste every 2 years?

Would my computer be fine if I just change the termal paste every two years? I heard some people do it once or twice a year

 

I don't really ever stress my computer, I just do some web browsing and programming, also my computer has really good airflow: 2 x 200mm and the Dark Rock Pro 3 or 4 (I don't remember which) CPU cooler

Just change it when you think temps aren't great.

I heard some ppl didn’t change paste in like 7 yrs and it was still alright. Like others said all depends from the temps and also how often you want to play with taking apart everything. I enjoy this part so swapping thermal paste once every half year on both cpu and gpu.

Every two years is very pro-active, probably more frequent than most people so good on you!

I personally fear swapping parts, I don't wanna mess things up

Your temps are very good, no need to worry. You only need to replace the thermal paste if your temperatures become very bad even if you cleaned the heatsink.

 

I have gone over 5 years without replacing the thermal paste in one of my old computers which constantly ran under load 24/7. It eventually started to overheat and changing the paste helped quite a lot.

Yeah. I've got a 7700K at 5ghz with a Noctua NH-D15 and it's at 37 degrees doing light browsing.
