Hey everyone, I'm going through my first build and basically just want to check that I've got this done right. The budget I'm looking at is 1,500-1,800 which I'm on the low end currently so there is room for upgrades if needed. Mainly want to make sure it can hold up to streaming/video editing. I already have a monitor and all the other extra gadgets so no need to include those in the budget. I'll go ahead and list out my current parts picked out and also leave the link to pcpartpicker.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/YKXsn7

CPU: Ryzen 7 3700X...250$

CPU cooler: Hyper master 212 black edition...35$

Motherboard: MPG X570 GAMING PRO CARBON WIFI...230$

Memory: Ripjaws 16GB DDR-3200...70$

SSD: Samsung 970 EVO PLUS 1TB M.2 NVMe

Which is here on amazon at 200$ (couldn't find it on partpicker)

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07MFZY2F2/ref=dp_ob_neva_mobile

Graphics card: NVIDIA 2070 Super...500$

Case: Meshify C mid tower case...100$

Battery: Cooler Master MWE 650W 80+gold...87$

.

Really my biggest concerns are the motherboard (its just what I had the hardest time picking out) along with the cooling. I'm not sure if 1 fan is sufficient enough or if I should get 2 more for intake/exhaust.

Deeply appreciate any help and feedback.

Made some tweaks.

Better mobo, better cooler, faster ram, ssd as good as samsung for cheaper, better gpu model, better quality psu and some case fans

Are you planning on overclocking?  The stock cooler on the 3700x is sufficient unless you have some specific reason for upgrading it.

So my setup is in the garage and I live in TX where it can get pretty toasty. I doubt I will need to overclock but still was worried about overheating with just the stock fan.

Waste of money. A Gen 3 is more than fast enough.

If I'm not utilizing 4.0 would it just be better to drop to a x470? Seems like 1 of the bigger points of getting a x570 is for 4.0. I realize if I went to a x470 I'd have to drop from the DDR-4 3600 as it's not supported there but that seems fairly minimal.

I'm just having a hard time knowing which motherboard to go with really.

MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX or B450-A Pro MAX are both fine. If you need wifi then you can either add a separate adapter, or go with the B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC. The 3600 ram should still work fine.
