So as I might have discussed in other posts, I am an 8th grader looking for my first phone as I am gonna need it in High School. I am planning to go with a Google Pixel 3a because solid specs, great camera, carrier compatibility, and software support for the next few years. But now I need to find out what carrier to go with. Unlimited talk and text is good but I don't exactly need unlimited data (at least not right now). I was looking at Mint Mobile since there $15/$20 per month for 3GB /8GB LTE Data and unlimited talk and text plans seem pretty nice compared to other carriers. I was just wondering if anyone with experience with Mint could explain how good their performance is and their coverage. I also wanted to know what would happen if they sent a DOA SIM-card. Would they refund? I live in the Seattle-area and their website says coverage is excellent but I just wanted to be sure.

Cant really say much about Mint. Firstly they most likely lease the network portion. Meaning they are using one or more of the big carriers networks. Id probably see if they say which network(s) are in use in your area. That will help you deterime coverage and such.

As far as a dead sim card in concerned, I cant say. Id emagine they would just replace the sim card. That might be something to call and ask about.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

I've been using Mint for a few months now and I highly recommend Mint. I use a OnePlus 7 Pro and get rock solid signal in most places. Only places I have issues is up in the mountains. But thats expected. My friend with an iPhone 11 Pro Max and Verizon also didnt get service up in the mountains. Just remember that to get the lower prices you have to spend more upfront. Worth it imo

PC Audio Setup = Beyerdynamic DT 770 pro 80 ohm and Sennheiser pc37x (also for xbox) hooked up to Schiit Fulla 3

Okay maybe yeah there are better phones with better specs for the same price or less. But all the other reasons is why I chose the Pixel 3a. Also, my mother is paying for about half the price while I'll pay the other half and she doesn't exactly want me to choose brands made for other regions due to warranty or repair complications.
