I have the same mainboard and cooler for my 2700.

Works quite well!

 

Maybe go for a better GPU if you have the money.

I've been looking at the 450 plus MAX but ended up with the pro carbon because of the built inn wifi. But am i right in seeing that none of the boards support 3600mhz ram?

I'll definitely upgrade my ssd storage and a 550 w psu, but i think the gpu is a little out of my price range.

b450 max mobos supports 3600mhz memory by A-XMP OC MODE.
