The Best Browser Ever

I agree that Firefox is a great browser, but this is really a status update more than anything

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

and as we all know, no other browser offers custom themes.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

It's also the only browser without possibility to customize keyboard shortcuts and without proper working mouse gestures (plugin that works sometimes, but not on every website doesn't count). It's a shame that from very customizable browser Firefox becomes crap that is behind every other browser. And like many other browsers, it increases number of version every minor change. Few new icons and two bug fixes and Firefox 71 becomes Firefox 72 (or 74, or whatever number it has right now).

 

But if you want to use it without modifications and you're happy with limited configuration options - good for you. Just don't call this crap "best browser ever". These days for Firefox are over (you can still use Waterfox classic with all good extensions no more supported by new FF - and you can see what good browser really means).

You DO realise the limitations on extensions was because FF redesigned their API to be more secure, right?

 

Customisation is nothing if its at the cost of a secure browser.  There's a reason Tor Browser is FF based.  Granted there is Brave from the Chromium side, I'm not sure how they manage their security.

 

Competition is good, saying either is crap is narrow minded.  I just know that personally, I've found FF better on resources and less prone to crash.
