Luke had a 'workshop' video where he concluded it had a minimal influence on temperatures, but I still doubt that video because you saw the Furmark stress test lagging behind him..

But I still believe cable clutter - unless it really is blocking all the fan space - will have a minimal influence on the airflow/temps.

Not a reason to not manage it at all, because managing your cables can make it a ton easier to later change some stuff, add more drives, etc.

I would just bundle cable away in a corner and bundle certain cables together. e.g. all SATA cables in one bundle, etc.

Will this psu last? Of your opinion?

Depends entirely on the exact system you're pairing it with, but the NZXT E-series are pretty excellent PSU's, if we're talking about a single-GPU system for example.
