Hi,

I'm having issues with my colling system 110i from Corsair.

The problem probably is, that I don't know how to make it

work correctly as I'm not a hardware specialist.

Under the Bios the H110i is listed as a CPU-Cooler

showing the speed of both fans which is about

2300 RPM...quite high I think for 1% of CPU usage

and 30 Degrees.

I downloaded the Corsair Link App, but don't really

understand how it works. I am also a little scared

to change things, cause I don't want to damadge anything.

For the Fans there are different Profiles:

which is the one to use, if I just want to everything

to work automatically and don't worry about heating

and to high noise level (btw. I use the 110i with 2

noctua PWM 12 fans).

So should I use the “default“ profile?

I'd appreciate if you could help me out setting up

the 110i properly!!!

Thank you.

Cheers

Do you mean the H100i, or the H110? as there is no such thing as a H110i yet form corsair.

your corsair H100i fan setting are all automatic. most use the quiet or balanced

setting for low noise. once your into the link, lower left is a spot to save your profile.

name it any thing you like.so if something changes and you want your profile back,

select and click. temp wise, sounds like your fine, but loaded temperatures are more

telling.

Sorry, I mean the H100i! (with Linus's two favorite Noctua Fans)

When I put it on quiet or balaced it mostly stays around 1200 RPM,

which in my opinion is quite high and noisy...

When I set it on default both fans go down to 500 RPM,

what is defaul exactly for?

There are two other fans from the fractal design R4, shouldn't

they also be listed in the Corsair Link, cause they're not.

Cheers

You could create a custom curve for them so they spin at the RPM you want them at compared to a specific temperature. Or you could pick a fixed rpm and set them to 500ish. However, this will in fact be fixed and won't speed up your fans as your CPU gets hotter.

There is another way to get the other 2 Fractal fans working with Corsair Link but it's not exactly easy. The two Noctua fans are currently connected to the CPU block/pump of the H100i. The H100i includes a second cable in case you want to do push/pull. You could connect in that second cable, get fan cable extensions and connect the Fractal fans to those. A little messy, specially with the cable work but probably the cheapest solution.

Thanks for the tip.

I set the profile to "default" which seems to be pretty nice; runs mostly at 500 RPM, when CPU heats up it increases to 900 RPM.

Now I'm facing a different problem:

- Corsair Link suddendly doesn't work properly anymore. It has problem to start up and when it does, there

is no information about fan speed, heat etc. Everything set to 0, I have no control...

==> is that something I caused or a corsair problem?

I use Windows 7...
