Windows 7 Backup Failurecode 0x81000037

After the announcement I decided that I should probably upgrade to Windows 10, even tough I insisted on staying with Windows 7.

 

Anyway, I thought I should make a backup in case anything fails. But it would let me do one, bur giving me the failurecode 0x81000037.

After nights of forum-searches and troubleshooting I give up and ask you, if you could help me.

 

What I tried so far:

 

-Shut down Windows Updates in "Services", deleting temporary files, restart

- Disabling Firewall

- Disabling and Deinstalling Antivirus

- check HDD for failure

 -use an external drive

 

 

Would be awesome if someone could help me!

Id try other backup software, like veeam, windows 7 backup and restore isn't the best.

make sure you dont have any zip files on the destination drive and that the drive is formatted to ntfs (make sure before formatting the destination drive to not have any files on it).

that is an other option. macrium is a great back-up tool too.

none of this worked unfortunately
