GPU+PSU Upgrade

Built this 2 years ago for 21500INR or about 300USD

Current Spec:

AMD Ryzen R3 1200

Gigabyte A320-M HD2

ADATA 8GB DDR4 2400Mhz

Gigabyte Nvidia GT 1030

128GB SSD + 1TB HDD

i-Ball Maestro 300watt PSU + Case

 

Upgrade Budget 7500INR or about 105USD

Looking forward to swapping for:

Corsair VS450

XFX RX 570 4GB (from Aliexpress)

 

 

Upgrading for better gaming performance, I know CPU will bottleneck especially off that mobo w/o OC, but that's all I got.

My Queries:

If not RX570, then what?

Recommend buying used from Aliexpress? (seller has 4.7/5 and has over 2500sold, (92% +ve rating) [considered so as off-the-shelf GPU prices are vv high in India compared to other, used PC part market in India does not feature high end components]

gpu is good, and it pairs well with your cpu.

i'm not happy with the corsair vs. can you get a cx 450?

as boggy say i'll go for the cx or even the cm model an rx570 will run most game pretty well in 1080p (if u can take a psu with an extra wattage)

Extra wattage is not really needed, better quality unit should be the target.

GPU is about 6400INR(90USD) with delivery+customs, leaving me with 1100INR(15USD)

 

CX Series 430 Watt (CP-9020046-US) = 4826 INR (68USD)

CP-9020120-NA CX450 450W = 3849INR (54USD)

Corsair VS450 = 2500INR (35USD)

 

Even if I sell that GT1030, I'm still going to be overbudget.

The CX series is way better than the VS series.

 

The sellers at AliExpress usually send the expensive items labelled as gift or the show it as a low value item. So, you will not have any import taxes at customs office.

As the card arrives, take it apart, and reapply the thermal paste. The sellers at AliExpress put some crap thermal paste onto it which results in bad temperatures. I have purchased several rx570's from AliExpress in the past, just telling you by my personal experience.
