So this is my laptop setup. I cleaned the laptop of dust few days ago.  Its HP k107tu. Its afanless laptop. I use a laptop cooling pad. When i put the laptop Inside the drawer (with cooling pad) the idle temps are around 65 degrees and when watching youtube videos it goes upto 77 to 80. So i set it up outside (with cooling pad) on the table only to see that the operational temps are the same as when it was inside the drawer. So  i wanna ask should i put it inside drawer again as it males setup look clean.. do i have any benefit putting it outside even if it seems that did not help with temps atall.. help...

77-80 is a bit high for just watching youtube videos.  It's weird the temps don't go down when set on the table vs being stuffed in a drawer.  How long did you test it with the cooling fan on the table?

There's nowhere for the laptop to get cooler air from when it's inside a drawer, so that's a bad idea. Also, if temperatures didn't change when the laptop was on your desk, you probably just weren't testing long enough.

If you do insist on keeping it inside your drawer, you should modify it, like e.g. remove the bottom of the drawer and replace it with some mosquito net or whatever to allow some airflow.

The temperatures are ok for that laptop. It's still below max temp and a fair few people complained about that certain laptop getting hot and having issues with that. So it's more of a bad design in this case. Keeping it inside the drawer is a bad idea. There is no fresh air and eventually the temperatures will rise inside the drawer causing it to overheat.
