Bought a brand new 2060 super 8gig a few months ago.  Everything was fine up until last night when i was streaming dying light bad blood.

The game freaked out, crashed my entire computer mid stream. Turned it back on and one of the DP ports no longer works. The monitor works fine.

I run a dual monitor setup with DP. I plugged an hdmi back into the second monitor so i can still have two screens.  I can not return the gpu as my girlfriend threw the box away so i am crap out of luck there.

Is this a gpu issue or is it a windows issue. Please help!

You don't need the box to RMA the card. You need the proof of purchase (the receipt/bill).

Or you can contact the manufacturer, they know how old the card is (according to the serial number and manufacture date; every 2060 should still have warranty).

But wait a minute, since when do 2060s have DVI ports?!

Some custom cards have them:

don't think that card has 2 dvi

That was just an example of a custom 2060 Super with DVI,

I am pretty sure there are cards with 2 DVI ports out there.

I had to edit it lol  I meant DP >_<  apparently this is a known issue according to this forum I am not alone.  https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/forums/geforce-graphics-cards/5/295832/rtx-2060-displayport-issue/

Newegg said I need the original box >_<

It was not the gpu!  Power cycling everything and plugging it all back in one at a time fixed it.  Apparently it has something to do with the monitor I am using.  Do not know what, but someone else with the same exact card and monitor reported the same issue to me and explained how they fixed it!

Thanks everyone and sorry for my brainfart when I said dvi when I meant DP lolol
