CPU for Deep Learning and ML

I am going for a dual GPU deep learning build.

 

Which CPU should I get ? A 3700x or 3800x or TR 1920x ?

 

I won't be gaming at all.

Out of those, the 3700X for sure.

3800X barely offers any performance advantages and the 1920x shouldn't be even on the list unless you have more use for PCIe lanes rather than CPU Power, sorry I'm not familiar how Deep Learning and ML utilizes your hardware.

Make sure you are aware of the MKL library on AMD issues (google if unaware). This is a case where you might be better off with X299 unless you feel comfortable implementing the workarounds.
