Thinking about updating my GPU, CPU/Mobo once nVIDIA announces its new offerings.

I believe that Ryzen wouldn't play well with "only" 3000mhz ram, that I'd need to update that as well? Or should I stick with Intel?

Currently have a 7700k and 32gb of DDR4 @ 3000mhz

Desktop 1: 7800x3d @ stock, 64gb DDR5 @ 6000, Asus 5090 Astral OC, x670 Asus Strix

Basement TV Desktop: 7800x3d @ stock, 64gb DDR5 @ 6000, 4080 Super, x670 Asus Strix

Laptop: Dell G3 15 - i7-8750h @ stock, 16gb ddr4 @ 2666, 1050Ti

Laptop 2: Intel i7 12700k, 3080TI 32gb DDR5 Ram

Laptop 3: Intel Core Ultra 9-275HX, 5080, 64GB DDR5 5

You could overclock your RAM to 3200, which Ryzen likes

Only problem with this is that Ryzen is very picky with ram, there is no guarantee it’ll work.

1080Ti and only gaming.

I like the RTX of my laptop (2070), but right now it's a marginal cost-performance ratio to upgrade from the 1080Ti, I'm assuming it's going to be a very different situation when the new generation kicks in.

My desktop is played on 1440p 144hz monitor.

Won't it bottleneck future GPUs?

There's always a bottleneck, it's only a question of how bad it is. You might experience some issues down the line as games become optimized for more than 4 cores, but as of right now I wouldn't recommend upgrading
