Should I Upgrade?

Thinking about upgrading my gaming PC. Live in the US. This is my current build.

CPU: Intel Core i5-7600K 3.8 GHz Quad-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler
Motherboard: Asus STRIX Z270-E GAMING ATX LGA1151 Motherboard 
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws 4 Series 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory 
Storage: Mushkin Reactor 1 TB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6 GB GAMING X Video Card
Case: Cooler Master Storm Stryker (White) ATX Full Tower Case 
Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA G1+ 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply 
Monitor: Dell S2716DG 27.0" 2560x1440 144 Hz Monitor

Should I upgrade this build? If so, which pieces?

 

Here is a possible upgrade build I put together. Lmk your thoughts.

That’s barely an upgrade unless you’re just trying to render something on the CPU...

Ok thanks. I have just had some frame rate issues playing Fallen Order and my CPU was at or near 100% a lot so I was just curious.

Consider a different cooler. The 212 evo is really old and not great compared to other air cooler choices on the market right now.

If you are trying to play games and not getting the FPS you want, then yeah upgrade.

If you are still good then don't.

The Ryzen system you have posted is MUCH more powerful than the Intel but I'd get a better GPU if you can.

What he said...overclock a 7700k if only your cpu is the bottleneck.  Chances are the additional threads alone will make the difference.
