Need advice for upgrading

so in 7 Months or even less i want to upgrade my pc
my pc have a I5 2400 And a gtx 1050

so i dont know if i should upgrade my cpu to ryzen 5 3600 OR I5 9400F (any of those) but if i do that i have to replace my psu and mobo and even ram

or i should just upgrade to I7 3770 without changing rams mobo and upgrade a gpu to maybe an rx 580 OR MAYBE 1060 soo
what should i doo ??

i would recommend staying on your current platform and upgrading your cpu and gpu, you can get more performance for your money.

What's your budget like?  I'd say without knowing your budget an amd 3600 would be an awesome cpu, but again we don't know your budget.  If I was buying a new graphics card...I'd get the most expensive one I could afford...and it would be an Nvidia card at the moment

the most expensive one you an afford is not always the best...

sure, i can buy a quadro right now but it wont fit my use case.

my budget is like 300$ maybe i can go a little bit higher

but guys tell me should i go with

NEW CPU SUCH AS RYZEN 5 3600/i5 9400F , but i will have to change the ram and the mobo so more money

OR A NEW GPU SUCH AS A GTX 1660 (and selling my old GTX 1050) AND A NEW I7 3770 WITHOUT CHANGING MOBO AND RAM
