CPU upgrade or gpu upgrade

I have a i7 4790 cpu and wanting to upgrade my gpu from a rx 580 to rx 5700xt will I need to upgrade my cpu to run the rx 5700xt. I just game on my system.

Really depends on these things:

 

1. Games you play

2. Monitor resolution

3. Monitor Refresh Rate

4. Expected graphics quality settings

5. Target FPS range

6. PSU you have.
