Hi. I'm building a PC for [Gaming and adobe programs (but not really into video editing ones yet)].
Budget is 1100$ but of course my local prices are different than in US.
Those are what i'm thinking of so far:

  • Ryzen 5 3600X (local) or Ryzen 7 2700X (Amazon) [Both same price as 3600] - 220$
  • ASRock B450 Steel Legend - 105$
  • 5700XT - Msi Gaming x or Gigabyte oc (both has the same price) - 530$
  • Team T-Force DELTA RGB 16GB (2×8) DDR4 3000 CL16 1.35v - 85$
  • MASTERBOX MB511 RGB - 90$
  • BitFenix Whisper M 750W or Corsair TX650M (Same price) - 125$

______________________________________________________________
So which of those options should i go with?
As i mentioned main use is gaming and UI designs, although planning to go into After Effects soon.
Although what about the 5700XT stability? I'm seeing a lot of people complaining about drivers issues.
Would this B450 be ok? I like how is looks and cost or should i spend more and get the MSI tomahawk one? Although should i spend more for 3200 ram?
The ram and mobos cost difference is around 35$ if i went with the other choices which is a bit annoying because i'm already exceeded my budget.
And for the screen im gonna go for the AOC c24g1 and any SSD and HDD.
Ps: Currently some of local vendors made an offer for the 3600x to cost the same as the normal 3600.
Location: Egypt
Local budget: 18~19k

What's your country and local budget?

I'd go for 3600x with a msi b450 (see if gamin plus, gaming pro or a-pro are cheaper than tomahawk)

Try to find 3200 or 3600 ram.

The gaming x is one of the best 5700xt boards, but the amd video drivers still have some problems.

The whisper is one of the best psu's. See if you can find it for cheaper if 550 or 650 w. You don't need 750.

The aoc c24g1 is a good monitor

See if you can get a 1tb ssd and you might not need a hdd, or you could get one later.

Edited and added my location and local budget.
The tomahawk is the cheapest MSI here. Sadly cant find any good PSU except those, no clue why local vendors get only junk PSUs in the lower price range.
I was planning to get another Seasonic S12II 620 Watt 80 Plus Bronze which would have saved around 50$ but its not a good PSU i guess.
Gonna get an 256 SSD and 2TB HDD because its easy to upgrade them in the future.

If I wanted to sleep well at night and not kick myself...I'd go with a 2070 super over the 5700xt right now.  Of course I'm old and don't like taking chances.  Give AMD a year and they'll have the drivers in fine shape, but as of now....

Yea its so annoying, sadly can't go up with the budget for the 2070s and the 5700xt is so tempting when i compare it with the 2060s which i can afford =\

So i guess the 3600x wins according to most people. Thanks!
