Hello all,

I have purchased this EE-ATX motherboard, which is bigger than anything I've handled, apart from server boards in rack-mount chassis. I tried to fit this in my Corsair 450D and, with a lot of jankyness, I managed to fit it, however, it's being held by litterally 3 screws, on the lower left part of the motherboard, anI do not feel comfortable running it like this, even though I technically could. I'd like to spend the extra money, and go for something that supports EE-ATX, and to be quite honest, given that it is for a lab server, I do not mind if it's not pretty and that it doesn't have a glass panel. Also, again, given that it's something that won't be touched a lot, the cheaper, the better. Any suggestions?

Thanks a lot.

Are you ok with doing some modding on cases? There aren't really EE atx cases out there that are not server racks.

I am okay with that, unless it gets too janky. And it would be nice to still have 3.5 inch hard drive mounting.

If you want to reuse your 450D case you can simply mark the holes on the case and drill them in yourself.

Not quite. The motherboard tray is not where I need more standoffs, if that makes sense

As far as I can find the cheapest option seems to be the old nzxt phantom. You'll need to drill the holes but it should fit.
