Video/presentation editor/creator for tutorial/codding videos

I'm looking for a video creation app that's good for presentation/tutorial style videos. The key feature would be pasting text, colorized code examples, with options to highlight parts, place boxes with text, images, maybe short video clips, connect with lines etc. Then voice-over or just background music. I've seen some video creation apps mention "explainer" or "whiteboard" video types but didn't saw any of them at being code friendly Or maybe it's better to look for some presentation making software and then animate that in a way?

I don’t think the cod will care.  They are bottom dwelling ambush predators after all.  (Yes, my life is small enough that sometimes autocorrect improves it)

 

in an attempt to be helpful, PowerPoint is actually fairly good at text and code is text.  It’s almost like what you want is a video of someone doing a *shudder* PowerPoint presentation.  If you want to animate the code and change it’s color and stuff PowerPoint might be the thing.  It’s sort of like a middle ground between presentation software and a full on video editor.
