you should not really have a problem with any of the new GPU's.

 

maybe go for a second hand 1080ti? save some but still get comparable performance

5700XT or 2070 Super would be great upgrades from the 1060.

If you don't mind buying used, as @Acid Panda mentioned, a second hand 1080Ti would also be great, as long as you can manage to find one for the right price.
