GameMax PSU

LokiiNeedsHelp

I am looking to get a new psu that is modular and i found this gamemax one (https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/CRkgXL/gamemax-rgb-550-w-80-gold-certified-fully-modular-atx-power-supply-rgb-550)

Are gamemax power supplies good and can i trust it even though it has a lower price than all other 550w modular power supplies?

I personally wouldn't fuck with it. Plus RGB PSU's are just gimmics and pointless. I'd recommend like a CX550

What's your pricepoint? I don't knoiw if RMx makes a 550W, but they have a 650W. I'd vouch for RMx all day long.

What is your PC build like?

Anyways, the Corsair RM and RMX are good options, Be Quiet Straight Power 11 is also a great option.

All the PSU's mentioned would be great option for a build like this, 550W on any of them will be plenty too.

If you are okay with semi-modular (only the 24-pin ATX and 4+4 EPS are direct connected), the Corsair TXM could be an option too, to save a buck.

Is the extra 13 GBP worth it for fully modular?

not just modularity , the RMx has 10 year warranty and the TXm has 5  7 years . the RMx is better performing and has a more silent fan operation

glad i can help , a correction is that the TXm has 7 years warranty not 5 m but i would still pay 13GBP for the RMx over the TX-M and forget about needing to spend money again for a psu till 2030
