F@H Help Needed

I got some questions.

So first is this right? (I want to fold for the LTT team.)

 

And second, what now? ^^

Thats it, if you've filled in your details and it says its running then you're folding. Maybe you've disabled the gpu, go to the advanced panel and make sure that your gpu is enabled.

I'm at light at the moment, because I'm doing some other stuff.

My question is, am I folding for the LTT team now?

Yerp looks fine to me, after collecting some credits you should be able to see your name in this list. Keep in mind that it takes around 24 hours I believe to update (not sure about the update rate)

and right now I'm getting 3800 ppd on my i3 2100 on light.

Is this reasonable? And what can I expect from my 560 Ti?

Not sure about the 560ti ppd I believe that its around 25,000. Depends on the project I believe

3800 is actually pretty nice for that cpu on light

As said above, the 560ti will give you around 20-30k. Set it to Advanced client type.

 

If you dont do too heavy stuff at the same time, you can easily run both cpu and gpu at 100% load without noticing any difference (when browsing for example)

nice! Add all the gpus you have.

The ppd fluctuates quite a bit. Mine goes from 110k-150k depending on the project

Set it to full. Unless it is at full the GPU does not turn on unless you are idle at desktop from what I have found. Max makes it work even while you do other stuff. The PC is still highly usable with it on max though.

When you click on the "View" Button in F@H you can see the actuall protein you are currently working on. The F@H screensaver shows exactly that. You just configure it like a normal screensaver in windows!

Sweet. Have you set the flags so you get advanced (newer) gpu WUs? That should give you a nice boost in ppd. like i said, Id expect around 20k from that 560ti.
