You usually don’t need a very good PC for Photoshop or Illustator. Something with a 4 or 6 core Ryzen 3000/Coffee Lake Refresh and 8-16GB RAM with a 570 or 580 is more than enough. You could go cheaper with the video card too or get a CPU with integrated graphics

bruh im using i5-8250U which is equal to i3 desktop and works fine. and aso runnign 8ggigs single channel.

When it comes to Photoshop you need a lot of RAM,a little bit of CPU power and almost zero GPU power.

I would recommend 16GB of RAM and at least a quad core.

 

I have an old Ivy bridge i5 and 8GB of RAM system,It did well in Photoshop with the iGPU.
