Not much other than to buy a one X or scarlet.

Its a console so not really designed for mods.

- Transparent cases mod

- Add an SSD( this will show limited improvement due to using sata 2)

- New thermal paste

My friend tried the ssd mod and was very disappointed. Probably due to the limited data transfer rate

SSD mod works well the thing is your not going to gain any advantages which is what most people are thinking will happen.

The game itself wont run faster off a SSD But it will load much faster except then you will have to wait for the others anyways as all MP games have delayed starts for this reason to even things out.

Single player games will load quicker and the xbox will start up quicker from the off position.

but you will not gain FPS in any way other than buying a better console if say you had a S you could get a X and it would obviously run faster.

Having played on both however its not as noticeable was one would expect.

Microsoft has likely purposely limited these things or just increased fidelity on the X  in consideration of fair play.
