Which to choose? Down to 3

Ty_in_BC

With this build https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/xh7BvW

Which graphics card would be "best"? I think I have it down to these 3.

Gigabyte Geforce gtx 1660ti  Newegg $375CAD (after rebate)

MSI Geforce gtx 1660 Super  Newegg $337CAD

Asus Geforce gtx 1660 Super  Newegg $331CAD

From what I can tell from the specs on Neweggs pages for those cards, the 1660ti has better numbers aside from "effective memory clock." Does that one number make either of the last two cards the better choice? Or is the $40 more for the 1660ti worth it?

Thank you

look at the benchmarks and reviews, not hardware specs especially if you're not good at it.

1660ti is barely faster than 1660S, I'd go with the Super. However, neither the Ventus nor Phoenix as their coolers are subpar. Maybe the Zotac two fan card, gigabyte 2 fan card or EVGA 2 fan card, even the Asus 2 fan card?

the 1660ti is basically the same as the 1660S 3-5% diff at most, it's worth at most 20 extra so that's off, between the 2 remaining cards it depends if you want a small form card to fit your card or a 2 fan 1660S.

Also, why that SSD specifically ? It's almost twice as expensive as other options like WD Blue SN500.

At the time I made that list that SSD was on sale. When I actually get around to buying the parts I may end up choosing something different there. :)

Thank you all for the replies, so basically what I'm hearing is the 1660ti and the 1660 super are very near one another so save the extra dollars and pick a version of the super with a better cooling than the Ventus or Phoenix?

ive got a zotac 2060. has the same cooler for the most part.  its pretty nice. get the zotac amp edition though. runner up is the EVGA card. There higher end stuff is really nice.

Amazon has the zotac 1660 ti for 289 or the super for 239 usd…. if money isn't an issue get the ti.

Thank you, I think I'll go with the Zotac 1660 Super than!
Watching some youtube benchmarks comparing the super to the ti there's not enough of a difference for me to justify the extra money on the ti.

Thanks again to everyone.

no problem the 2060 runs cool so im sure the 1660 is just as good. just get the amped version. comes with a higher oc

the ti though shows its potential when you OC it compared to the super.. Nvidia has really made a card for EVERY  price point! lol
